Religious Architecture

The Carver Park Baptist Church site was master planned for a growing church congregation needing to expand to a new location due to being landlocked in their previous location. The worship space was designed to seat 500 with a choir to seat up to 60 - depending upon the music program for the week; for a total of 560.

The fellowship hall was designed to meet a variety of needs through the use of panel partitions – fellowship dinners, meetings, and adult religious education. Other spaces include administration, youth and children’s religious education spaces, cry room, sound room and usher/deacons room. The space was designed with growth in mind; the ceiling in the main worship area was elevated in order for natural light to filter into the worship center located in the center of the building, and high enough to add a balcony to expand the seating capacity of the space.
